Hello, I am Laura, a professional German translator with a Master's degree in Translation Studies from Heidelberg University and over a decade of industry experience. 

 

My career has taken me across borders – from Germany to London and back – giving me invaluable insight into both the linguistic nuances and cultural contexts that make translations truly resonate. Living and working internationally has deepened my understanding of how different audiences think, communicate and do business. This cross-cultural perspective is at the heart of my translation work.

Before starting out as a freelancer, I worked as an in-house linguist with two leading translation agencies, where I built expertise across diverse fields, from financial documents and legal texts to marketing copy and software localization.
